Project Sigma NGO

Project Sigma, a Florida-based Non Profit Organization, has embarked on an ambitious journey of global expansion.
With a vision to create a lasting impact on communities and research the sea and ocean environment, Project Sigma is transitioning into a non-governmental organization (NGO) and establishing within the end of 2023 operational headquarters in two distinct and ecologically significant locations: Italy and the Philippines.

Originating in Florida, Project Sigma has started using its contacts, the organization is now extending its reach beyond borders, aiming to foster meaningful change on an international scale.

In Italy, Project Sigma aims to collaborate closely with local authorities, community leaders, and sponsors to develop specific projects that address critical environmental concerns facing the mediterranean. Italy is part of a huge marine protection system that includes many distinctive preserve areas including but not limited to:
1) The Pelagos Sanctuary the includes most of the Tyrrhenian Sea in cooperation between Italy, France and the Principality of Monaco.
2) The La Maddalena Archipelago National Park that includes most of the Islands between Sardinia and Corsica.
3) The National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago which includes al the Islands in front of the Tuscan Coast.
4) Various Protected Marine areas.

With its unique marine biodiversity and rich cultural heritage, the North Tyrrhenian Sea provides a fertile ground for innovative conservation initiatives. Through sustainable practices and community involvement, Project Sigma seeks to preserve and restore the precious marine ecosystems while nurturing the social and economic well-being of the local communities.

Simultaneously, in the Philippines, Project Sigma envisions a close partnership with governmental agencies, NGOs, sponsors and local Companies to tackle pressing environmental challenges and promote community welfare. The Philippines, with its vast coastline and abundant marine resources, provides a promising canvas for transformative projects that safeguard the ocean environment and uplift the lives of coastal communities.

To achieve its goals effectively, Project Sigma is committing itself to cutting-edge research efforts aimed at understanding and conserving the sea and ocean environment. By fostering collaborative research initiatives, the organization seeks to identify sustainable solutions that can be scaled globally to benefit marine ecosystems across the planet.
